I am Maria Wagner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.  I'm conveniently located off West Circle Drive, in Rochester, MN.

With over 14 years' experience, working in a variety of settings and as a graduate of the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine in Clinical Social Work, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my expertise is dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy.

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Additional Training

I've participated in numerous trainings, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy trainings at Beck Institue, with Judith Beck, Ph/D.  I have also participated in trainings with Behavioral Tech, facilitated by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., and on-line trainings with Behavioral Tech as well.  I've participated in numerous trainings throughout MN, to continue my growth as a therapist.

Consultation Group

I currently work with a DBT consultation group, "DBT Professionals" located in Saint Paul, MN.  We meet bi-monthly, for two hours, to ensure we adhere to the model that Marsha Linehan set-forth in her program.
